ABOUT CYBERFREAK

Curiosity with a practical purpose.

We've been helping small businesses make sense of technology since 2013. We start with curiosity, but we earn our place by being useful.
SINCE 2013

Built through the work, one relationship at a time.

We're CyberFreak IT Solutions, and we've been doing this since 2013. That's the everyday work behind the name: sorting out the mailbox that says it's full, chasing the carrier when the office internet drops and moving someone's files and settings to a new computer.

WHY CLIENTS STAY

Many of our client relationships go back more than ten years.

They grew from learning how your business runs and remembering what matters to your people. They grew from following a problem past the first error message when that's what it takes.

Most of our clients have never had to explain their setup twice.
THE FOUNDER

Who you'll be dealing with

CyberFreak is run by Andy Singh, who has worked in IT for more than 20 years. He spent years in IT roles, then ran his own IT business as a sole trader before setting up CyberFreak IT Solutions in 2013.

Many of the businesses he looks after have been with him for years. Some started as one person and grew into a team with him.

WHO PICKS UP THE PHONE

You're talking to the person doing the work.

When you call, you reach someone who already knows your business.

For specialist work, like network cabling or building a website, we bring in people we trust and manage the project with you. How that's arranged, including who you deal with and who bills for what, is agreed for each project.

WHERE WE WORK

Remote most of the time. Onsite when the job needs it.

We support small businesses across Sydney. Most of the work happens remotely. When a job needs someone standing in your office, we're there.

If your Outlook won't sync, we can usually sort that out without leaving our desks. If you're moving offices and every cable needs to land in the right spot, someone needs to be physically there. We pick whichever one gets the job done, not whichever sounds more impressive.

A DIRECT RELATIONSHIP

You should understand the decisions being made around your IT.

We work closely with small businesses, usually about 1 to 30 people. We want technology to make sense to you, not to keep you dependent on us for things you could understand yourself.

Saw something in a vendor's pitch, or had an AI tool suggest a fix? Bring it to us. We'll tell you honestly whether it works with what you're already running, what it really costs to do properly and what happens to your existing data, access and security if it doesn't.

  • Plain English before unnecessary jargon
  • Clear scope and honest service boundaries
  • Respect for your time and your budget
  • Saying so when a job needs a specialist
THE IDEA BEHIND THE NAME

Freak means looking one step further.

A slow application might be a fast computer waiting politely for a server it doesn't own. A scanner that stops sending to email may still save to a folder, because the two share a button and fail for unrelated reasons. Most of what looks broken is really just misunderstood, and untangling that is most of the job.

We start with what's in front of us, not what the manual says should be happening. We look for what it connects to, because very little in a business runs on its own. And we don't call something explained until the answer is useful to the business, not just technically true. That's what looking one step further means here, and it's why the first answer is rarely the one we settle for.

The name has energy. The work stays calm. Freak means we keep going after the easy explanation would have let everyone move on, and after the obvious fix hasn't fixed anything. Then we explain what we found in plain language, because an answer only you can't follow isn't much of an answer.

It also means knowing when the answer sits outside what we do, and saying so plainly instead of stretching to cover it. Confidence has never required pretending to control every product, platform or outcome. Sometimes the most useful thing we can tell you is which specialist should take it from here.

The first answer only counts once it explains what actually happened.
THE NEXT CHAPTER

See how that thinking becomes a working method.

Follow what happens after that first conversation: the work we do, the result you get and whatever comes next.
